Chardham Yatra Itinerary from Haridwar

Below is a day-wise plan we generally follow. It can be adjusted slightly depending on road conditions, weather and your preferred pace.

Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot

We pick you up from Haridwar and drive towards Barkot, passing through green valleys and the Yamuna riverside. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri to Barkot

Drive to Janki Chatti, followed by a trek (or pony/palki ride) to Yamunotri Temple. After darshan and a dip in Surya Kund, we return to Barkot for the night.

Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi

We travel to Uttarkashi, a quiet spiritual town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, and visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the evening.

Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri to Uttarkashi

A scenic drive through Harsil Valley takes us to Gangotri for darshan and a holy dip in the Ganga, before returning to Uttarkashi for the night.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

We proceed towards Guptkashi, our base for the Kedarnath visit, with an overnight stay to rest before the trek.

Day 6: Guptkashi to Kedarnath

We travel to Gaurikund and begin the trek to Kedarnath (helicopter option available on request). Evening aarti and darshan at the temple, with an overnight stay near Kedarnath.

Day 7: Kedarnath to Guptkashi

After a peaceful morning darshan, we trek back to Gaurikund and return to Guptkashi for the night.

Day 8: Guptkashi to Badrinath

We drive to Badrinath, visit the temple for darshan, and take a holy dip in the warm waters of Tapt Kund.

Day 9: Badrinath to Joshimath

An early darshan at Badrinath, followed by a visit to Mana Village, Vyas Gufa and Bhim Pul, before we head to Joshimath for the night.

Day 10: Joshimath to Haridwar

We begin the return journey to Haridwar, reaching by evening with the Chardham Yatra completed and beautiful memories to take home.
